We would like to inform all foreigners planning to visit the beautiful island ofZanzibar through the seaport or airport that, effective October 1, 2024, itwill be mandatory for all foreigners to possess valid Inbound TravelInsurance which will provide coverage for the duration of their stay (up to 92days).
This requirement is being implemented to ensure the safety and well-being ofall foreigners and mitigate any possible risk pertaining to their travel into theisland, This policy provides comprehensive coverage for various emergenciesincluding repatriation, evacuation, and other related contingencies.
It is cssentia that all prospective forcigners make necessary arrangements toobtain suitable inbound travel insurance ONLY from Zanzibar InsuranceCorporation through QR Code that will be provided before cmbarking ontheir journey to Zanzibar, Failure to comply with this mandatory requirementmay result in entry denial at immigration checkpoints.
